Wasigenstein fortified Chateau

Description
Au 13e siècle, deux châteaux dépendants l’un de l’autre s’élevaient là, séparés par la « faille de Walther ». Ils furent détruits durant la Guerre de Trente Ans, vers 1632. Sont encore visibles aujourd’hui une citerne, une partie des donjons et des salles ainsi que des escaliers abrupts taillés à même la roche. Le sommet permet une belle vue sur la vallée du Langenbach et Obersteinbach.
