Le marais de la Touques

Situated between Pont l?Evêque and Deauville-Trouville-sur-Mer, the Touques marsh is a sensitive natural area, a wetland located downstream of the Touques coastal river.
The marsh features a diversity of natural environments, including ponds, reedbeds, meadows, etc.? These habitats are home to a wide variety of flora and fauna, including 212 species of birds, 30 species of mammals, 3 species of reptiles, 9 species of amphibians and 33 species of dragonflies, some of which are rare or vulnerable in France.
To discover the marsh, 2 loops totalling 5.3 km have been set up, with a footbridge linking them. In the heart of the marsh, an ornithological observatory on the edge of a pond will enable you to observe a number of birds, which you can identify with the help of a frieze.
For your information, a parking lot is located at the junction of the railway station in Canapville and the route de Trouville, in Saint-Martin-aux-Chartrains. It has a capacity of 18 car spaces, as well as bicycle racks and bus parking.
