The Dipper

Description
The dipper is the only European passerine bird that has the particular ability of walking underwater against the current, in search for food. Its diet is comprised of aquatic insects, molluscs, and small shellfish among others. It perches on an above-water rock in the middle of the stream, searching for prey, before diving in and using its short wings to reach the bottom of the water.
