Fronton de l'Hôtel de Ville
Description
La signification de ce fronton reste inconnue : on eut penser qu'il est l'oeuvre du célèbre sculpteur Pierre Blondeau qui a déjà réalisé son pendant côté jardin et qui a travaillé sur ce chantier de 1773 à 1775. A droite du personnage féminin (une allégorie de la ville ?) une aiguière symbolise peut-être la rivière Aisne.
