Etape 1

From the central square in front of the tourist office, turn right towards Pau/Morlaàs on the D943. A long descent begins the loop with beautiful curves. Once at the bottom, turn right towards Escurès on the D413, then left onto the small road to Lespielle on the D543. At the junction with the D143, turn right towards Lespielle. Continue on the departmental road and after the restaurant ‘Aü Rey’ turn right at the sign for ‘Chai du Château d'Arricau-Bordes’. Cross the plain, then take the long, rough-surfaced climb on the right, passing the magnificent château. At the top of the hill, turn right onto the D13 and drive through Arricau-Borde. Continue on the D13 and after Castillon-de-Lembeye, take the first left, signposted Route de Pau towards a water tower. At the crossroads, turn right onto the D298, then left onto the D139 towards Madiran/Lasserre. Continue straight ahead and you will arrive at Crouseilles.
