Description

Leave from Veulettes-sur-Mere for a walk to Paluel. This nature walk will allow you to explore the banks of the river Durdent, a small 23-km long river whose estuary has a fishway that allows them to swim up the river to breed. In the heart of the site listed a ZNIEFF (Natural Area of Ecological, Faunistic and floristic interest), you might be able to see Eurasian teals or hear the song of a reed warbler. You will be surprised to see that the water is crystal clear.
A 7-km walk, including 80% in the site itself with no cars, that allows you to explore the wet meadows of the Lower Durdent Valley.
