Architectural creation platform commissioned by the Centre international d'art et du paysage - Île de Vassivière for the "Vassivière Utopia" tour (2018-2020) with the support of Groupe Caisse des Dépôts and the Mairie d'Eymoutiers. "How to show without imposing: Create a form for its own detour. The land we have chosen, referred to by locals as the "belvedere", allows us to embrace the historic heart of Eymoutiers at a glance. Situated on the right bank of the Vienne river, to the north of the town, the entire surface of the land slopes steeply down to the banks of the Vienne. The bank of the city on which it is located benefits from year-round sunshine thanks to its southern exposure and elevated position. Our intervention on this site, on the southern edge of the plot, takes the form of a balcony overlooking the city.
