La Galerie des Arts du feu

Located in the North and East wings of Saint Maclou Ossuary, a 16th century heritage gem in Rouen now beautifully restored, The "Galerie des Arts du feu" (Fire Art Gallery) is dedicated to the promotion of traditional crafts related to clay, glass and metal. Come and learn more about the fascinating work of these artists and craftspeople who use the power of fire to turn raw materials into exceptional pieces: decorative objects, sculptures, tableware, lamps, jewels, etc. The visit includes: exhibitions, showroom, demonstrations, clay introduction courses and workshops (booking required), shop, « learn and play » scientific trail with digital activities dedicated to the theme "Ceramic, precious clay". In a word, it is a tour covering 500 sq m (1,600 sq ft) during which you will learn all about the mysteries of fire!
