




The longest sea wall and promenade on the Alabaster Coast (1.5 km) protecting the houses from the sea during storms. The bed of the river Veulettes was channelled and altered to pass under the hill and flow into the neighbouring Durdent valley.
Follow the walk along the Durdent Valley and go and explore the heritage trail around the restored bunkers on the cliff.
Lifeguard patrolled beach in July and August.
