Gîte de la Poilière

Renovated house located in the countryside, 8 km from the market town of Challans and 6 km from the market town of Commequiers. The accommodation is close to the beaches of Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie (20 km) and Saint-Jean-de-Monts (22 km) and 35 km from the bridge at Noirmoutier.

The gîte, adjoining the owners' house, comprises a ground-floor living room/lounge/kitchen, a first bedroom (1 x 140cm bed) with shower and WC, and a second bedroom (1 x 160cm bed) with separate shower room and WC. Upstairs, accessed via a staircase in the entrance conservatory, is a third bedroom (1 x 160cm bed + 2 x 90cm trundle beds) with en-suite shower room and separate WC. A glass door in the living room gives access from inside to the heated indoor swimming pool (3.20x7.20m), which is open all year round. The pool room has a shower and access to a 4th separate WC. Wifi internet access. Outside, fully enclosed garden, gravelled courtyard with parking for several cars, covered terrace (summer kitchen with barbecue, outdoor games), open terrace (tables and chairs, deckchairs), petanque area. Second wooded area opposite the house (garden furniture, hammocks). Bikes provided by the owners. The house is surrounded by farmland with suckler cows grazing from May to October. Heating included. Bed linen and towels provided.
