Description
Site of an iron foundry (16th to 19th century) that used charcoal and hydraulic power. A classified Historic Monument.
The most complete and best preserved wood-fired foundry in Europe.
Look out for: the blast furnace, refining foundries, cutting shed, foundry-workers' cottages, coal and iron sheds, foundry-workers' chapel.
