Description
This monument was inaugurated in 1976 in homage to Fernand Lechanteur, poet and writer, a native of Agon-Coutainville and defender of the Norman language.
The installation is composed of 32 granite raised stones, arranged to represent a ship with the proportions of a drakkar. On the stones are engraved the names of the donors in runic characters.
