A botanical garden in the Cotentin marshes.
An old farmhouse typical of the Cotentin marshes, surrounded by several lush gardens. Different botanical areas transport the visitor from one atmosphere to another. From a small "curé garden" to the opulence of an English-style mixed border. Beautiful hundred-year-old ash trees accompany a collection of perennials and old roses, a kiosk, a fish pond, spiral-trimmed boxwood, exotic tree ferns - all surprises well hidden behind the walls of this property.
All hand-crafted by a passionate amateur gardener who passes on his passion and know-how! A jewel box of nature, placed there for 40 years like an oasis in the heart of the marshes. Pretty hens remind visitors of the origins of this former farmhouse, a sharecropper's house built of limestone in the last century. Self-guided or guided tours and group rates by appointment. Picnics available.
