Description

The scales of the cones from this species have hooked parts on them. Swiss mountain pine grow to 20 or 30 metres in height, they are present in many mountainous regions in Europe and they can live for up to 2000 years.The species stands over the Pissoun de Terres Pleines path. Coal tits and crested tits are omnipresent…but you ca n also try to spot the elegant treecreeper which hides its nest under bark removed from a dead tree.
