The Mérelle Observatory offers a 360-degree panoramic view.

During a hike in the hills above Gérardmer in July 1964, a group of Boy Scouts found themselves at the top of the site, overlooking Lake Gérardmer.
That’s when an idea was born: to build this magnificent wooden observation deck with 85 spiral steps, offering a spectacular view with Lake Gérardmer in the foreground and, in the background, the Gérardmer Stations alpine ski area and the Route des Crêtes.
