Situated on the banks of the Authie river, Willencourt boasts over 800 years of history. The village boasts an interesting architectural and natural heritage, including a wattle-and-daub school hall (one of the few in the département), an 18th-century chapel and a marshland linked to the history of its Royal Abbey. To welcome visitors to the village in a pleasant setting, the commune and its residents are very active in the flowering of the village, which has earned Willencourt several awards, including the silver medal for villages in bloom.
