Description
Un style Art déco sous inspiration gréco-byzantine pour ses 3 nefs : cette église est unique en son genre à Roubaix !Elle a été bâtie en 1927 dans un quartier en pleine expansion, et financée par une souscription et des fonds privés.Elle est dédiée à l’archange Michel, et ses vitraux Art déco représentent des anges. L'architecte Alfred Nasousky utilise sa technique de la pierre reconstituée moulée, associée à la brique, une solution moderne et moins coûteuse que la pierre de taille.Le mobilier est d’origine.
