Description
La nécropole française de Marbotte regroupe les corps de 2 656 soldats : 2 652 français tombés au bois d'Ailly ainsi que 4 Russes. En face se trouve le monument du 8ème corps d'armée, érigé en souvenir des 30 000 tués du secteur. Il fut inauguré en 1931 par le président Raymond Poincaré.
