Appelés autrefois «jardins ouvriers», créés à partir de 1905 à l’initiative de l’Abbé Lemire, prêtre et député d’Hazebrouck. Malgré la rareté et le prix élevé du foncier, ces petits potagers continuent d’être amoureusement préservés. Les Villeneuvois y plantent leurs poireaux, salades, choux, fruits, et autres plantes aromatiques...
