Built around 1848 by the famous Angevin architect René Hodé for the Gohin de Montreuil family, on the site of a former château, of which the 16th-century dovecote remains, the Château de Montreuil is in the neo-Gothic style. No major alterations have been made since its construction. The château remains today as it was built 175 years ago!
Overlooking the valley of the Loir, which flows at the foot of the park, its location is admirable.
Its 7-hectare agricultural park was designed by the Count of Choulot. The dovecote dates from the 16th century.
During Heritage Days, visitors will be able to walk through the main entrance hall to see the drawing room and the former dining room. The visit will be free and guided.
