Hargipont picnic area

Tip: if you’d like to add a touch of ‘nature’ to your walk, you need to make a 2km long (1.2 miles) detour towards the Hargipont footbridge over the Wamme, where a picnic area will be created in 2011. If this is the case, beyond the bridge on the Rue Saint-Gobert, take the uphill road, Rue de Genal, then turn left, Rue de Binte. After a ten minutes walk, take the downhill path towards the footbridge. The footbridge takes you to the ‘Pisciculture de la Wamme’(i.e. the Wamme fish farm), that can only be visited by appointment (different species of traditionally raised trout and brook trout are farmed and marketed here - Tel : 0032-84/22.17.10). Retrace your steps to go back to the church.
