Le château d’eau de la France
Description
Le Plateau de Millevaches voit naître de nombreuses sources qui font leur chemin et deviennent de grandes rivières et affluents de fleuves. On le surnomme le ‘’château d’eau de la France’’ car ici les précipitations annuelles sont comprises entre 1000 et 1600 mm d’eau. Ce sont ces tourbières, ruisseaux et rivières qui ont d’ailleurs formé les vastes paysages remarquables du Plateau.
