Château de Trenquelléon

For lovers of old stones and beautiful houses, the castle of Trenquelléon, can be visited in its exteriors. Property of the family de Batz de Trenquelléon, the castle dates from the 18th century. It opens into a vast courtyard from where the harmony of the castle's facade is fully expressed. One can see the central pavilion of the castle topped by a small pediment placed above the entrance door, a beautiful horseshoe staircase connects the main courtyard to the terrace that runs the entire length of the facade. An entrance gate with gracefully rolled wrought iron volutes opens on to nature and the fields.
