Deva Domain
Description
This site is exceptional both in terms of its biodiversity and the beauty of its landscapes. A wide range of activities are on offer for nature lovers, providing them with a fully immersive New Caledonian bush experience.
When you arrive in the Domaine de Deva, which is located about 15 kilometres from the village of Bourail, call into the Maison de Deva to find out about all the different activities on offer. Mountain biking, hiking and horse riding are all open to the public, and there's even a bird observatory at Fournier Marsh. A variety of events are held at the Domaine every year, including an introduction to paragliding, trekking, mountain biking, horse riding and hunting. Ask for the programme at the Maison de Deva or visit the Domain's website.

Open period
All year round daily between 6.30 am and 7.30 pm. The domain may be closed if the fire risk is too high. Access to the Domain (after the Sheraton), by the second guard post, is possible from 6:30 to 19:30. Staggered openings for regulation hunting outside school holidays: - Tuesday: area of the Marais Fournier accessible from 9h. - Tuesday, Thursday and Friday: area of the Carré Neuf and MTB tracks 10 & 15 accessible from 12h. - Friday: Temerock area accessible from 9am. Exceptional opening of the Domain from the 2nd guard post from 9am on the following Saturdays: 28/06 – 05/07 – 19/07 – 02/08 – 30/08 – 13/09 – 27/09 – 04/10 – 29/11 – 06/12. Subject to favorable weather.
