Description
Reedbeds represent a vibrant and fertile environment, providing refuge for many species of fish. They are also ideal nesting grounds for numerous passerines, such as the verderolle and effarvatte warbler.
Maintaining these fragile environments requires a natural tidal range (variation in the water level of the lake) throughout the seasons.
