Banc d'essai - Test bench - is a life-size chance to try out in the public space the urban furniture imagined by designers and produced by local companies from the Saint-Étienne district.
And here, on Place Jean Jaurès, it's children who are getting the benefit.
But what is it exactly, Mâtuvu? A play module for our little darlings. Let them climb up these weird gadgets to grab the flag and see themselves in the mirrored surface that covers it. It get kids talking to each other and it's a way for them to see the urban landscape from a different angle, let's say.
