From this birdwatching hide, you can admire and observe the birds of Isle-Crémieu in complete privacy, in the heart of this unspoilt wetland. It is an ideal spot for discovering the local biodiversity throughout the seasons, without disturbing the wildlife.
This site is a prime haven for birds, particularly during the migration and wintering seasons.
With 20 heritage species recorded, including 15 threatened bird species, birdwatchers may, with a little patience, spot the marsh harrier or even the elusive little bittern.
Biodiversity is not limited to birds. The Salette pond is also home to several rare species of dragonfly, whilst the tree frog and the European pond turtle – both protected species – are testament to the site’s excellent ecological quality.
Open to all nature lovers, the bird observatory invites visitors to discover the rich wildlife of the Balcons du Dauphiné, whilst respecting the species and their habitat.
