Morestel Bread Furnaces

Only one communal bread furnace still stands in Morestel today. It can be found in the hamlet of Thuile. It was built in 1892 and its roof was restored in 1985.

There was another bread furnace in the hamlet of Serrières, but it has disappeared.
There is a furnace in an outbuilding of the Ravier museum which belongs to the town council.
