Morestel Washhouses

Two washhouses were built on the River Bordelle in 1863. Only half of the first washhouse, at the bottom of Rue Blanche, is still standing.

The second washhouse is located on the campsite at Montcourbois where it has been converted to a toilet and shower block.
Both washhouses are relatively large and have stone walls.

A third washhouse stands in Mallissole near the old mill and is fed by a spring. Its construction date is unknown but it is more recent and smaller than the other two.
