Col de Balme
Description
The Col de Balme is located on the border between France and Switzerland, between the Chamonix Valley and the Trient Valley. It culminates at 2 191 m.
In summer, the Col de Balme is used by many hikers doing the Tour du Mont-Blanc. This pass is directly accessible on foot from the village of Le Tour, or via the Compagnie du Mont-Blanc ski lifts, which are open in summer for hiking.
