Description

Scientific name : Alytes obstetricans. Small plump toad, length of 5.5 centimetres, grey, olive brown, or yellow. The male carries the eggs during gestation. Habitat Wet areas embankments, old walls, parks and gardens. North west Europe. Food : Insects (mosquitoes, beetles), Gastropods (slugs, snails), earthworms, arachnids, woodlouse.
