Alpette

Alpette (small alp, small mountain pasture), the arrival point of the cable car which gives access to the slopes in winter and links up with Alpe D'huez, allows for bike rides in summer and family walks along the lakes.
The cable car operates during the two summer months of July and August. Above the Alpette is the refuge de la Fare. It is guarded in summer and welcomes you for a drink, a meal or an overnight stay. In August you can enjoy the ripe blueberries. A good opportunity to pick them!
