Château de Bourbon-l'Archambault
Description
The 15th-century château is the fruit of a long evolution. A Carolingian castrum was occupied by the Archambaud family in the early 10th c. It was to become the seat of power for the ancestors of the House of Bourbon, and the basis for their expansion over the next four centuries.
