Oedenbourg Castle

The ruin of the Oedenbourg, also known as Petit-Koenigsbourg, is not currently open to visitors, but you can see some beautiful remains behind a fence, notably a blind shield wall and several Gothic windows that mark the former dwelling (14th century).
First mentioned in the 12th century, the castle was enlarged several times and finally abandoned in the 15th century (hence its name Oedenbourg - abandoned castle).
