Chapelle Notre-Dame du Pont du Salut à Corrèze

Description

The river Corrèze gave its name to this charming little town, as well as to the department. An ancient fortified town with slate roofs, it dates back to the 9th century. It has preserved the remains of its ramparts which were last attacked in the 16th century. Dare to cross the emblematic Porte Margot and discover noble hotels, fortified houses and watchtowers. Below the village, you will discover the small chapel Notre Dame du Pont du Salut, a remarkable site, built on the banks of the Corrèze.
