In Joan of Arc country, Maxey is a typical village with 330 inhabitants, well away from the RD 964 road. It is located at the foot of a wooded hill, crossed by a river where there are many trout (reserved). Renovated Lorraine house. You enter into the former living room (with exposed beams, stone sink, etc) which today forms the sitting room where you can warm yourself by the Lorraine fireplace. The spacious kitchen/dining room opens onto a little enclosed garden with terrace. First floor: 2 bedrooms (2 double beds-2 single beds) with en-suite bathrooms. Also WC on ground floor.
