HOTEL DU TIGRE
Description
A hotel in a 19th-century building with cellars that were used as a field hospital during the First World War. The hospital received a visit from the leading politician, Clémenceau, hence the name of the hotel (Clémenceau was referred to as "the Tiger").
It stands at the entrance to the town of Verdun if you come here from Paris (main road or motorway). 3 km from the town centre. Restaurant close by. Lock-up garages (charge). Pets accepted subject to certain conditions.
