Chapelle pauluskapelle

Pilgrimages were made to Pauluskapelle (St Paul's Chapel) by the villagers from the glass industries of Meisenthal, Montbronn, Saint Louis-lès-Bitche and Soucht. From the latter, small objects of worship hanging from the trees marked the way to the chapel. The pilgrimages were often for Pentecost and Easter.

The date engraved in the altar, 1866, indicates the date of construction. This is confirmed by the inscription made by 14 of the religious helpers.

Every year, on the last Sunday in June, the association responsable for the protection of the chapel, organise the Pauluskapelle festival. The benefit is given to charity.
