Quai de Londres

A popular hangout for Verdun residents, Quai de Londres is home to no fewer than twenty bars and restaurants. It hosts Verdun's biggest events: Musique et Terrasses, Le Grand Festival, Le carnaval vénitien, and more.

A collateral victim of the bombings, the current Quai de Londres was completely destroyed during the Battle of Verdun. After the war, it was entirely rebuilt and renovated thanks to financial assistance from the city of London. Today, this pedestrian area is the scene of the region's most iconic events: the Musiques et Terrasses festival, Le Grand Festival, and more.
