Today, it is the only remaining element of the fortress that was dismantled under Louis XIII to suppress a Protestant stronghold.
The medieval-inspired garden features medicinal and other plants in woven chestnut squares, with pergolas and wooden arches decorating the enclosure, which is also planted with fruit trees.
Closed in winter, the Tower opens on weekends and public holidays from Easter to All Saints Day, and in summer from Wednesday to Sunday.
