In the heart of the Vosges mountains, between the Col de la Schlucht and the Hohneck, the Chalet des Trois Fours is located on a large flat of "stubble" with a particularly beautiful view of the Munster valley and the Alsace plain. This mountain accommodation is open to all, groups of friends, families, individuals, and all year round.
The Chalet des Trois Fours is an outpost to discover the Ballons des Vosges Regional Natural Park and the Frankenthal-Missheimle National Nature Reserve. Families and nature lovers will be able to discover the preserved fauna and flora characteristic of the Vosges. Many sports activities can be practiced in the surrounding area. In winter, snowshoeing is very popular in the Vosges, it's a real treat! Skiers can also access the large area of La Bresse-Hohneck or the family resort of La Schlucht. For cross-country skiing, it's a ski start at the foot of the refuge! In summer, the Chalet des Trois Fours is the ideal base camp for hikers. The density of trails is impressive. Mountain bikers and other climbers will have just as many choices.

Dogs and other animals are not allowed in the nature reserve and in the refuge.The Vosges Mountain Centre has: - 7 dormitories (5 dormitories including 3 to 4 beds including a PMR room with sanitary facilities and 2 dormitories of 7 and 8 beds) for a total of 40 beds - a large dining room. - a picnic area - a meeting/training room for 20-25 people with internet access (taken RJ45)
Nearest train station in winter: Munster; then coaches Epinal-Colmar From spring, shuttles departing from Colmar station or Remiremont TGV station then coach heading to the Col de la Schlucht.Located in the Haut-Rhin 68, accessible by car from the Vosges 88 by the D 430 departmental road.D 430 cleared from the Schlucht in winter.Access road of about 800m not cleared of snow in winter.
