Description
Château Marquis de Vauban/Château Le Cône is an 18th century estate where the Duc de Saint-Simon lived during the reign of Louis XIII.
The statue of the Marquis de Vauban stands in the gardens, proudly pointing its finger at the Citadel of Blaye. The current owners acquired the Chateau in 2001, enlarged the estate and modernised production while restoring the old estate. In a friendly atmosphere, we welcome you in our old wine storehouse for lunch. The menu is based on local products home-made cooked. At the same time you will have the opportunity to taste 3 wines. Château Marquis de Vauban have a complete offer of services for wine vacations : guided tours of the winery and vineyard - wine tastings - lunches - horse-drawn carriage rides in the citadel.
