La bastide d'Arzacq-Arraziguet
Description
In Arzacq, in the north of the Pyrénées-Atlantiques, and close to the Landes, in the 11th century there was a castle on a motte. The bastide is an extension of this settlement, which explains its atypical shape. Located in the past in the border zone on the English side, its market had a regional importance and earned it its status as a bastide.
