Built in the 15th century, the church at Lugagnac was partly destroyed during the Wars of Religion. It was rebuilt in the 17th century, along with the chapels of Saint-Roch and Saint-Jean. It was sold during the Revolution, but returned to the bishopric in the 19th century.
Now desanctified and owned by the commune, it underwent a complete restoration in 1990, culminating in the creation of six stained-glass windows by Olivier Debré.
