LE GÎTE DU HARAS DES ALPES MANCELLES, 7 À 8 PERS YC BÉBÉ

Stay at the Haras des Alpes Mancelles gîte for a get-together with friends or family. Everything has been designed to ensure that you have a great time: a large, fully-equipped kitchen with a long dining table, a vast living room with a very comfortable sofa, a large smart TV screen, Orange fibre and games. Upstairs is the sleeping area with 3 bedrooms (each with 1 or 2 double beds, 3 140x190 and 1 160x190) and, for added privacy, 2 shower/bath rooms and 2 WCs.
Outside, there's a shady lawn with garden furniture for you to enjoy in fine weather.
You can watch the wild animals (squirrels, rabbits, roe deer, etc.).
A table tennis and badminton table (rackets and balls) are also available.

Labelled an LPO refuge, the Haras gîte is located in the Normandie Maine Regional Nature Park, which covers 3 départements: Mayenne, Orne and Sarthe. The park is ideal for walking, horse riding and mountain biking. At Gesvres, you'll discover the unspoilt rolling hills of the Alpes Mancelles. Head to the Mont des Avaloirs lookout point, the highest point in the Armorican Massif in the Grand Ouest at 416m, to admire the forests of the Mayenne and Orne.

Local shops (bakery, mini-market, bank, etc.) are 5km away in Saint Pierre des Nids. The nearest major town is Alençon, 21km away.

Leisure area, with kayaking, tree climbing, orienteering, mini golf, pony trekking... at Saint-Léonard des Bois.
Visit the small towns of character such as Saint-Cénéri-le-Gerei (the village, painters' and artists' studios, the Auberge) and Fresnay-sur-Sarthe (silver medal winner of the French people's favourite village in 2021) or Lassay-les-Châteaux with its famous, very well preserved medieval castle.

Weekend stays: from Friday 5pm to Sunday 3pm - Weekly stays from 5pm on the day of arrival and 12 noon on the day of departure.
We can accommodate a maximum of 8 people, including babies.
