Near the small glacier of Tête Rousse and facing the very beautiful NW face of the Aiguille de Bionnassay, the refuge of Tête Rousse is one of the stopovers on the normal route of Mont Blanc.
The refuge, renovated in 2003, offers a comfortable stopover for mountaineers who climb Mont Blanc. The team of guardians of the Mont Blanc normal route welcomes you for a gourmet snack, a hearty meal, a comfortable night. The base camp of Tête Rousse offers collective tents, with camp beds for a unique experience with a Himalayan atmosphere.
Opening of the refuge to the public on May 25, 2024The refuge will be closed to the public on September 29 at 8 a.m.For the Base Camp, opening to the public on June 20, 2024 and closing on September 22 at 8 a.m.
