REFUGE DU GOÛTER (FFCAM)
Description
The last stop before the roof of Western Europe, the highest guarded refuge in France, the Goûter refuge is an extraordinary building. A true concentrate of technology, it is designed to adapt to the extreme conditions of the site while comfortably accommodating 120 mountaineers on the normal route of Mont Blanc.

The team of guardians of the Mont Blanc normal route welcomes you to the Goûter refuge for your last stage before the summit. A thirst-quenching drink, a hearty meal, a few hours of sleep in comfortable dormitories are the ingredients for the summit. Also enjoy the panorama, perched above the Grand Couloir, of the unique building, and experience the special atmosphere that reigns in this place, where the rope teams wait for the start of the ascent.
