REFUGE VALLOT (FFCAM)
Description
The Vallot hut is located on the western ridge of Mont Blanc, at the foot of the Lower Bosse, close to the Vallot observatory and 2 hours from the summit of Mont Blanc. This is a shelter for the emergency bivouac only.

This emergency shelter is unguarded but it is nevertheless monitored for the safety of the Mountaineers. WARNING: BIVOUACING IN THIS REFUGE WITHOUT ACCLIMATIZATION TO ALTITUDE CAN BE DANGEROUS!
