Description
At the level of the village of Le Vert, this hike offers a view of the Monts d'Auvergne: to the right, the Massif du Cantal is the remnant of a stratovolcano formed 13 million years ago, the largest in Europe, eroded by collapse and glacial erosion. Then on the left, you can see the volcanic massif of Sancy (1,886 m), the highest point of the Massif Central.
