This authentic 19th century castle, with its tower and its moats, is ideally located in the centre of the classified Ancient Village of Bourg. Here, you are just 3 km from the Route de la Corniche lakeshore trail which runs alongside the Gironde Estuary, the carrelets (fishing huts on stilts) and the local cave dwellings. Surrounded by a large, tree-lined enclosed garden, Madame Poissonneau’s little castle has been decorated with care to give you the experience of a night or more of château life in the two person rooms or the suite. The charm of the place extends into the living space where ancient furnishings and travel photos intermingle. A billiard room and a lounge with a large bookcase are also at your disposal.
